Gift Quilts
Below are a few the many quilts I've made as gifts and a little about them. Forgive the not-so-good quality of the photos at the moment, I'm still trying to figure out how to get the scans of the pics come out looking good.

Hot Air Balloon Baby Quilt

I made this quilt for my best friend and her third baby. The hot air balloons were from a swap that I had participated it on Quiltlist, an email list for those interested in foundation piecing.

Wolf Wallhanging

I made this for my nephew who loves wolves for his christmas gift in 1998.

Yellow Rose Wallhanging

I made this wallhanging is for a very dear aunt who a number of years ago was designated as a Yellow Rose of Texas. The pattern is from the Foundation Piecer's website and I've made several gifts with it using different colors for the rose.

Parrot Wallhanging

I made this wallhanging for the husband of my best friend. He at one time had owned a parrot and they had to sell the bird before they adopted their second daughter. This is in honor of Chulo the parrot.

Teddy Bear Baby Quilt

This quilt was made for very good friends when they had their first child. It's machine applique and the bears were done out of scraps. All of the fabrics were all out of my stash.
